Founded by longtime denizens of the visual effects industry, Lindsay and Jamie Hallett, a husband and wife team with over 25 years of experience spanning business, production and creative.

Having always held the dream of starting their own, artistically driven company in a tropical paradise (as almost anyone would), the pair established capital T in the spring of 2012. Based on the beautiful island of Maui where they merge their love of VFX with their love of the wild, capital T stands as a creative outpost fitted with the latest in 2D VFX workflow technology, amidst nature.

Both Lindsay and Jamie are known for their affable and professional demeanor (with a little bit of rock and roll thrown in); enabling them to provide clients with the highest quality 2D VFX work from a trusted, liked and competitively priced resource.

Lindsay Hallett

Executive Producer

Lindsay Hallett is one of the most tenured Visual Effects Producers in the entertainment industry, with over 100 credits among the most elite of Hollywood films. Affectionately known as “Linzo” to clients and friends alike, Lindsay has spent nearly 25 years in the visual effects community, making a name for herself due to her professionalism, passion and personality.

As opportunities presented themselves, Lindsay worked with and inside some of the largest VFX studios in Los Angeles: Warner Digital, Sony Pictures Imageworks, Paramount, Asylum, Rhythm and Hues, Stan Winston Digital and Luma Pictures all welcomed her expertise and enthusiasm. While at these various dream factories, Lindsay was involved with notable and trendsetting VFX films of the past decade, including: “Mars Attacks,” “Hollow Man,” “Incredible Hulk,” “Planet of the Apes,” “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe,” “Fantastic Four,” and “Underworld: Evolution.”

Jamie Hallett

Visual Effects Supervisor

Jamie Hallett has long been a presence in Hollywood’s visual effects community, lending his skills as an artist and visionary to the architecture of some of the biggest blockbusters to meet the silver screen.

With over 80 credits spanning over 2 decades, Jamie Hallett has operated on set and off, behind the camera and in front of the compositing console. His career has seen him frequent companies: Film Effects, Inc., Intelligent Creatures, RIOT, Scanline VFX, Sony Pictures Imageworks and IMAX.

Having initially worked as an Optical Cameraman before transitioning into fulltime VFX, Jamie garnered an appreciation for shot composition and how both Director or DP and VFX artist have to work in tandem for a seamless effect to come to fruition.

This appreciation has led to his roles as Visual Effects Supervisor on films including “The Time Traveler’s Wife,” “The Fountain,” and “The Number 23.” Jamie brings an immense portfolio of experience in compositing to capital T, having worked on “Live Free or Die Hard” and “X-Men Origins: Wolverine,” among many other films, and receiving a team nomination for a VES Award in “Best Compositing” for work on the movie “Hereafter,” directed by Clint Eastwood. He also operated as Senior Compositor on the international hit, “Alice in Wonderland.” Jamie’s most recent credit is Lead Compositor on “Men In Black III,” for Sony Pictures Imageworks.
